Who we are

GetQuoteMyFleet is a marketing service that connects businesses in New York and New Jersey with licensed commercial auto insurance agents. We are not an insurance carrier and do not issue policies.

Information we collect

• Quiz answers and contact details. When you finish our 5-question quiz, we collect your answers (state, number of vehicles, vehicle use, renewal timing and decision-making role) together with the name and phone number you enter, and the date and time you submitted them.
• Call information. When you call us, we and our telephony providers receive your phone number, the date, time and length of the call, and a recording of the call.
• Information you share on the call. Such as your name, business name, contact details, vehicle and driver details, and current insurance information.
• Technical information. Standard data sent by your browser, such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and referring website, which may be collected through server logs, cookies or similar technologies.

Where your information is kept

The quiz answers, name and phone number you submit on this website are stored in a secure, managed Postgres database hosted by our website provider, Netlify, Inc., on servers in the United States. Access to these records is restricted to authorized GetQuoteMyFleet staff through a password-protected page, and the data is encrypted in transit. Call recordings and call details are kept by our telephony providers.

How we use your information

• To connect you with a licensed agent who can help with your request
• To provide quotes, answer questions and follow up on your enquiry
• For quality assurance, training and compliance, including call recordings
• To measure and improve our website and advertising
• To prevent fraud and meet legal obligations

Calls may be recorded and monitored for quality assurance, training, and compliance purposes. By placing a call, you consent to this recording.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Licensed insurance agents, agencies and carriers, so they can respond to your request for coverage information or quotes
• Service providers who help us operate our phone lines, website, database hosting (Netlify) and analytics, under contracts that limit their use of your data
• Authorities or other parties when required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of others

Calls and texts

If you give us or an agent your phone number, you may be contacted about your enquiry. We will only make marketing calls or send marketing texts with your prior express consent, as required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. Consent is never a condition of purchase, and you can opt out at any time by telling the caller or replying STOP to a text.

Retention and security

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, including under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale of personal data. To make a request, email privacy@example.com or call (800) 555-0199. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Children

This website is intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
